We can help you with the due diligence required when acquiring or disposing of a business to ensure there are no potential problems with the venture.

At TWP, we provide support for both buyers and sellers throughout the whole transaction. For business disposals, the due diligence is commissioned by the vendor, but provides a comprehensive review for the purchaser. It can identify potential issues which can then be addressed by the vendor.

Each due diligence commission will be different, but is likely to include:

• Comprehensive analysis of underlying historic performance, cash flows, assets and liabilities
  
  
• A review of management forecasts and the underlying financial systems and controls
  
  
• Analysis of the taxation position of the business
  
  
• A report summarising the key issues and associated risks
